Scientific interests

- High pressure (p > 1GPa) chemistry and physics – in particular compression driven structural transitions and reactions in fluoine-rich inorganic systems

- Relationship between structure and magnetism in compounds of copper, silver and gold; low-dimensional magnetic interactions

- Experimental tools: XRD, IR/Raman spectroscopy, magnetometry; theoretical modelling: solid-state DFT (including the hybrid approach)
