MSc Nikola Cichocka, a Physics graduate, teaches Chemistry, Physics and Math, but her teaching career is devoted mainly to physics. She focuses on presenting physics in practical ways, also using modern technology, which is a primary way of communication and acquiring information for youngsters. She gives a lot of attention to girls in the classroom, motivating them to learn science. Her teaching curiculum include rising awareness about global warming and human impact on the wellbeing of the planet.
During her MSc and PhD studies, Nikola Cichocka learned and applied several research methods used in condensed-matter physics like microwave driven hydrothermal technique of crystal growth, X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy, as well as photoluminescence and photoluminescence excitation measuring techniques.
